I recently sent this message in which I made one error, instead of
Flagstaff, I had written Tuscon. The rest of my request is the same.

I am a grad student at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. I plan
to attend the woodfiring conference in Flagstaff, Arizona in July, and I'm
interested in finding someone to stay with, get a ride from (to or from
Phoenix), or share expenses with. If you are going too, or you live in the
area, and you are foolhardy enough to cast your lot with a poor and lowly
grad student, please e-mail me. (By the way, I hope none of this is
inferred as a "singles ad." I have a wife and two kids, and no intentions
other than to save some money on this adventure.)

>This is nothing to do with rides/expenses, except obliquely, but: Don
Reitz said that if they do not get some rain, and soon, they may not be able
to fire. Serious drought, reservoirs at 1/4, fire hazard severe,
temperatures way above normal.
