Will be moving to London in the fall, and would like to find a house/flat in
an area where art/clay classes are available. Can anyone suggest places to
look? If you have information, please e-mail me directly at Fran
Symes@AOL.Com Thanks in advance for any forthcoming help.

Dear Fran,

Before you go, buy a copy of Ceramic Review, a publication put out by the
Craftsmen Potters Assoc. of Great Britain. They have a good listing of
exhibitions and courses in the back. When you get there go to their Shop
on Marshall St. in London, (it's in the area of Carnaby St. right behind
Libertys.)They should be able to steer you in the right direction. London
has such a wonderful transportation system that getting around isn't too
difficult once you get used to it. I remember the area close to the Crafts
Council Gallery as being one close to galleries and interesting shops,
which was fairly central, but also residential. There are loads of
wonderful interesting areas in London. I lived in Oxford for a year,
(quite a few years ago), and loved going up to London. I try to get back
for a visit every 2 or 3 years. Hope this is helpful. All the best, Liz
