Just a comment on the thread of mold repair. Most all of the recommends put
out by the membership have been pretty well on target as my own experience
tells me. Just one little add to it all. Good old canned Pet Milk makes an
excellent - and possibly as good as any - bonding agent to join two DRY mold
pieces together. Doesn't set completely really fast. It will stick quickly,
but allow to dry overnight at least before using. We have molds in our shop
that have been used hundreds of times that have this particular repair agent
in them. The casein in the milk does the trick. For ordinary use in casting
the repair should last a very long time. Just don't soak the mold in water,
it may separate. And, of course, any crack, repaired or not, will leave a
mark that must be cleaned up a bit.

Hope this broadens the information base on mold repair.

juried show - 250 artists and artisans from all over the Southeast and
points beyond, 30 thousand plus visitors each year. Art, craft, food,

one ask for.
