looking for a kiln

I am hoping to drive out from Yellowknife to southeast Saskatchewan in mid-
April. (Hoping could be the operative word here because if the spring thaw
happens too fast, the ice road across the Mackenzie River will be closed and
the ferry won't start for another 2 or three weeks.

If anyone along this route has an electric kiln for sale or knows of one,
would you please contact me with details and price? I am looking for a 7 cu
ft. or just slightly smaller kiln that will fire to cone 6 or 7 or higher.
Sectional is an advantage as I may be setting it up and taking it down
periodically. (Has anyone on Clayart ever addressed the topic of how one
might be an itinerant potter?). The words sound good together - would love
to have it on a business card.

(Triple beam balance and glaze making supplies are also of interest.)

Thanks. I enjoy the postings, learn lots from them and forward many to
friends according to their particular interests.

Autumn...

If you want to detour about 150 kms out of you way and come to Brandon , Mb
Canada. I have a 7 cu ft Coneart kiln that is about 14 yrs old.
It is in good shape, probably just needs some new elements. Price is
negotiable.

Still does the odd cone 10 firing in a pinch. ONly reason I'm selling is
that I replaced old large kiln with another Coneart two yrs. ago and don't
need it.

Mostly used for bisque !!

Hey everybody. I am a beginner (literally...haven't even bought any
clay yet!) and was wondering if anyone living in the Carolinas might
have an old kiln they would be interested in selling, cheap. Or,
perhaps, someone could suggest a resource for finding them used? I can
only spend $200-300. I don't care whether it's gas or electric...after
all, I was just going to dig a pit in the yard, or use the woodstove,
but I am now reconsidering that, since I'm dubious about the viability
of these methods. Later on down the road I definitely want to try
building my own kilns but there's so much to learn first...Anyway,
please feel free to e-mail me personally if you'd like.

Thanks, Claudia in SC

Hi,

I'm looking for a used electric kiln to buy, more than willing to drive a
reasonable distance from central NJ for pickup. I'm going to use it for
summer art camp then donate it to the Princeton Charter School for their
art program. Would prefer something in good condition, then again would
prefer to find one rather than have to buy new
