For Eleanora, who asked a hundred years ago for clear lofire glazes:
(oxidation)
Patrick's 04 clear (works at lower temps, too)
Frit 3195 81
EPK 5
Ball clay 5
Neph Sye 9
Magnesium carb 2%
Bentonite 2%

This is a very reliable glaze - it came from Cleveland Institute of Art.
You must use it very thinly, however, otherwise it is cloudy.

I recently tested one glaze from the book Glaze Projects, by Richard
Behrens :

cone 06
Kaolin 10.5
Frit 54 89.5

(frit 54 can be substituted by ferro 3134). It worked great!

This book has tons of interesting glaze recipes, I highly recommend it.
