Dear Friends,

I am desperately searching for more information on Tom Coleman. I have
searched the www for any reference of him, but have come up empty. He
uses a type of lichen glaze or "crawling" glaze over colored slips that
I am very interested in. The cover of American Craft (April/May 1994)
has a beautiful example (a teapot) where the glaze does not completely
cover the piece. It seems to migrate to certain parts of the pot
leaving areas of slip exposed. I have continuously tested several
lichen glazes at ^5-^6, but tend to get full coverage. Please, if you
could help in any way (books, www sites, etc.) where I could get some
information on Tom or others that use this technique, I would really
appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
