And let the one among us who is not learning to throw
pots raise his hand.
Where one goes to learn to "throw pots" is immaterial.
Yes, a person may learn to throw from a class
from a park and recreational facility.
A good friend or grandmother can teach how to
throw. For example look at Maria Martinez and
the New Mexican pottery.
they learn as did we all, one day at a time.
I am sensitive on this issue as a teacher once told me
that at the end of a course, I should not expect to set
up a studio, and throw pottery. For that is what I did.
We all have different experience levels, but we are all
learning. We should not discourage the early learning efforts
of any one.
