I am a recent bfa graduate and would like to put a kiln in my workspace in
the basement of my parents home along side my wheel. I would appreciate any
email from potters with experience re: the expense involved in
firing-specifically how much does it run up your monthly electric bill, and
any safety issues or other advice. I am looking to purchase a cone-art
electric kiln 28" w x 27" dia. with auto controller...any feedback on that
paricular kiln? Thanks.

I have a Skutt 24X24X24, with sitter and it runs me about $4 for each firing.
Not too bad, I thought.
