kastite castable refractory mixing

A studio I am working in has several bags of Kastite castable refractory
around. I would like to use it to repair the bottom of an electric kiln. I
am filling in several 1 inch deep gouges in the firebrick. The bags of
Kastite don't have any directions on them telling how much water needs to be
added and no one in the studio knows anything about this material. Does
anyone on the list have an idea of what the water to Kastite mix ratio is?
I have also been told that the Kastite has been in the studio for at least
10 years. Will this have any impact on its performance?
