There is another aspect to consider. Ethics. If you have ever had
occassion to speak with Alice or Feriz Delkic you know you are speaking
with people that have plenty of ethics. Alice will call you back so you
don't have to pay for calls. She GAVE me a half of a gallon of 296a to
try. At my request, Feriz called me to advise me on using 213 for rust on
my car. He was very knowledgable and helpful. I have been testing it on
some pipe flanges to get the hang of proper coating and application. It
works. Feriz began making these products for Alice's use on her kilns. I
believe he is a ceramic engineer? If you have read Nils paper on ITC you
will see the logic behind the product. In particular the emisivity (sp?)
values of silicon carbide, a major ingredient. It nearly that of a black
body which radiates back almost all heat hitting it. The other
ingredients are certainly superior to my earlier use of sariset and silicon
carbide when it comes to binding and holding the silicon carbide in place.
Please check my earlier post about energy savings. If necessary, I will go
back through my firings and kwh usage from my sariset mix days and now with
itc.
