Hello,
Yes I am new here...and I have af request for info... regarding computer
controlled kilns... I attend Northern Kentucky University which is currently
building a new ceramics facility... as such we are ordering new equipment...
I am seeking information about these kilns ... has anyone had any experience
with them?...any advice?...

I have a Paragon Touch-n-Fire computer controlled kiln. I love it. I
haven't had an over- or under-fired kiln load in the several years that I've
used it, except for burned out elements. I especially like the "hold"
feature for soaking at peak firing temp, and the "ramp" feature for
programming a very slow rise in kiln temp at the beginning of bisque firings.

Yes but you should always have a back up device to shut down incase of a
failure.
