I am trying to assist a terra cotta artist in Tamale, Ghana. He
does expresive pieces but they are very fragile and difficult to
transport. He is totally self taught, intelligent, imaginative and
reads English. I am searching for a copy of The Self Relient Potter
series: Refractories and Kilns. I understand it is out of print. If
you know of a copy which is available, please notify me ASAP. Thanks!
If you have other suggestions I could pass along, I would appreciate
hearing from you. Any materials needed to make the kiln must be
available for him locally as transportation costs for materials are
prohibitive.
