------------------
Just had a glaze disaster in my Skutt electric. It appears I greatly =
overloaded
a piece of greenware with glaze and tried once-firing....without going into =
the
boring details of the screw-up, glaze flew everywhere, including the bottom =
of
the kiln that was not covered by shelves. Even though I had coated it with =
that
good kiln wash from Axner it is not going to come off without taking some of=
the
brick with it. Do I leave it alone? Is there something I can put on the =
spots
to absorb the glaze in the next firing?

Thanks for your thoughts.
