Hello Clayarters

I've only been subsribed for a little while and I'm thoroughly enjoying all =
the
claytalk, stories and IMHOs. I'd like to share a few thoughts that have been
gathering.

There was some discussion about Giffen Grips earlier. I have one that's =
been
collecting dust in my studio for quite a while. Never did like the thing. =
I'm
in
complete agreement with Tony on the subject. So if anyone is interested, I'd
like
to be rid of it. Does =2475 sound reasonable?

About leg cramps - Stand and throw, if your wheel can be put up on blocks. A
pair of aerobic shoes and an anti-fatigue matt and your all set. Most of =
the
potters I know who do this for a living (and there are a lot of us out =
there)
stand
and throw. The wheelhead should be at navel height. I took me about 20
minutes to get used to it but now I can't imagine doing it any other way. ).=
It
will
eliminate stress points. Don't wait until you blow your back out (like I =
did).

Thanks for the stinky water tip - one tsp. of bleach and instant relief.

Cheers,

Cheri

Hi all,

I was cleaning my studio and came across my Giffen grip. I haven't used it
in the past year, so I guess I really don't need to hang on to it. It's in
like new condition, has all of the parts and has the original paperwork that
came with it. I've got it boxed up and ready to send to someone who needs
it. My price is $100 and that includes the shipping.

The first person whe emails me and can send a check this week can have it.

Thanks,

John Post

I would love to have it. Hope I am first to respond. Where do I send the
check? How much for shipping?

Jeanne,
So sorry but, the Giffen Grip was sold a couple weeks ago. In fact,
everything but the Pacifica wheel has been sold. Thanks for inquiring, though.

If there is more than one "taker," I have one that has never been out of the
box, even, in the
several years since it was a gift. What is a fair price to charge if it's
bought without shipping it?
Pam
