Anybody out there know where I can get a high pressure gas meter? I'd like
to find out exactly how much fuel my Alpine 24 is burning. I am going to
spray the ITC coating inside my kiln and I'd like to see what kind of
difference there will be in the use of fuel.

In hopes of not sounding like a smart ass, you should be able to buy a
pressure regulator at any industrial supply store that can monitor the amount
of gas pressure consumed with each firing. Give that a try.

This is my first attempt to take an active part in the CLAYART EMail scene.
A number of years ago I built a 5 ft. X 5 ft. X 5 ft. cone 10 hard brick
kiln. Since I had never seen a homemade kiln, I read library books on the
designs, and I learned that kilns like mine would require a large volume of
gas. I called my gas company and told them my problem. They sent out
workmen and installed exactly what I neded, No charge!. Try it. Nufsaid.
