Connie,

When you visit Atlanta try the Sidewalk Studio in the
Virginia-Highlands area of town, the Berman Gallery in Buckhead,
and if you have time, go North to Clarksville, GA, 9 miles West of
town on GA 198 (I think) and visit The Mark of the Potter. The
Mark of the Potter is a pottery and gallery in an old grist mill,
in a mountain setting. They some nice things there.

Dear Fellow Clayarters:

I will be visiting my son in Atlanta in a few weeks. Would like to call on a
couple of galleries to show my work. Does anyone have any suggestions for ones
that they have had a positive experience? Or even ones to avoid?

Thanks so much.
Happy New Year!

I hope you got a lot of good suggestions. I liked the Dorthy McRae Gallery
3193 Roswell Rd NE off of peachtree. I heard that Dorothy passed away but
maybe some one else is running it now.Um, I had a rather negitive experience
with Rick Berman up the road from her he was sort of condecending. But that
was fairly early in my work. Roswell rd is a good place to start along with
Peachtree Blvd. The 'highlands' is another good place. If you go on Friday
there is a good arts section with maps in the paper.

The Dorothy McRae Gallery is closed. It's been closed for over 2 years
now AND I'm still waiting for the return of my piece from there. I
recently got word that it might be returned to me by the end of January.
