Dear Clayarters I have a Royal Dalton porcelain figure
of a lady called Coralie. Some time ago this figurine was
dropped and it craked right through. The pieces stayed
together until now, but it is falling apart. Can I just paint
an earthernware transparent in and on the cracks and
then refire. I also have a Rosenthal bone china horse
that has a leg broken. The leg extends backwards as if
the horse is galloping. There is a hole in the centre of
the leg, and it has been repaired once before, by a
professional? This was before I was into pots. How can
I repair this one and hold the leg up with complete
confidence that nothing bad will happen to it? I realise
this is a tall order, but apprently this horse is from a
limited edition, something like only 200 or 300 world
wide, and worth $1000's, not Rands but Dollars. TIA
