fireproofing tablecloths

I have an art show in 3 weeks that requires fireproof tablecloths. I
read once about a homemade solution that they can be rinsed in to
make them fireproof. I think it included some baking soda.

If anyone has a recipe and directions I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

6 parts borax
5 parts boric acid (drugstores usually carry this)
100-150 parts warm water

soak or spray (spray is probably better)

or....
There is a product called Firesafe manufactured by Tandem Tech Industries
in Mississauga Ont. Comes in a spray pump bottle, no muss no fuss, I
found it in a fabric store. If you can't get this specific product, I'm
sure there are others available.

Good luck
