I found an electric radiant heater at the thrift shop. It looks
something like a painting (has a funny painting on the front) and you're
supposed to hang it on the wall. I put it on a table and then put a
stainless steel screen over it, using boards to hold it about an inch
off of the surface of the heater. If you don't make an airspace, the
bottoms don't dry.

Using this setup I have thrown, dried, trimmed, dried pots in around
6 hours and put them in the bisque kiln. I plan on putting this on the
bottom of a ware rack so I don't have to use a separate table.
