A fellow potter as me to ask the group if someone is putting a trip for the
summer of '97 to England. He is just getting on the Net and is no yet a
member of the group. So, if anyone knows of a tour/classes being held in
England please let me know so I can pass it along.

A friend, and fellow alumni of University of North Texas, Gary Hatcher is
offering a trip to England the summer of 1997. The trip is being offered
through the University of Texas at Tyler where he is on the faculty. It is
a tour of museums, galleries, potteries, etc.,... You can call the
University for more information.
Gary and his wife Daphne own and operate Pine Mills Pottery near
Mineola, Texas in the piney woods of east Texas. They make very nice
^ 13 utilitarian stoneware. They fire in a double Bourry box wood kiln
and a propane fueled car kiln. They've been featured in Ceramics
Monthly and Studio Potter. BTW, they were apprentices of David Leach
in the late 70's.
