June:

It's a percentage thing-- .01 is to 300 what .1 is to 3000... so in
theory it shouldn't affect your batch.

My day job (which I haven't the nerve to quit yet) is for a company that
manufactures scales, and so I can't help but wonder what brands you're
considering, and why? Larger bench scales can be pretty pricy.. and
what's accurate for 20,000 grams will be less accurate for 200. I've
been using a little Peloise postal scale (measures to nearest .1 gram)
but it has max capacity of 2000 grams and large batches become tedious.

I'm not a scale expert, but am surrounded by them on a daily basis.
Will provide more info if needed... Patti
