Yes this works really well, even with other brands ;-) But to quote
my highschool art teacher Mr Clapp "BEAR DOWN, BEAR DOWN on those
crayons!". However if you're as limp wristed as me, oil pastels work even
better.

The crayons give a nice "crayonish" feel to your line; lots of skips
and dashes. The oil pastels give a more even (although not entirely) even
line. Nice affects.

Also, sometimes the different colors in the crayons leave slight traces
behind (logical actually) which is nice or not depending on your taste.

I was amazed to find, when I was doing inventory, that ALL the pots
I decorated this way sold. Every one of 'em. Perhaps they touched
something "elementary" people's memories. ;-)
