Thanks everyone for your helpful comments on the "crackle glaze for dinnerware
-- is it safe?" subject. Interestingly, the advice ran from 'should be ok' to
'don't invite me to dinner'. The jury's still out on the subject. So anyone
else who wants to put in your two cents, I'd be very interested in reading. But
for the time being, I think I'll stick to decorative items. Oh & btw, I should
have been more specific in my terminology, by 'crackle glaze' I was refering to
a uniformly crazed glaze not raku.
