In the electric ^5 firing I did a few days ago the 4cone bent
appropriately, the 5cone broke off near the base, (no bending
at all), and the 6 cone broke off at the tip, (again no bending).
They were all vitrified. I used the "new" Orton cones. This is
my first glaze firing. The glazes look mature. They're
commercial.
What does this cone breaking mean?
