I would be happy to share my killer 06-04 glaze if you post me personally.

Most of the commercially available clear glazes from Duncan, Amaco etc. are
brushing clears, and have enough flocculants, binders, suspenders, etc., in
them to render them kind of useless for dipping. In fact, most of these
glazes are designed for 2-3 coats via the brush. Gare manufactures a great
dipping clear. The way to change commercial brushing glazes into a "one dip
dipping glaze" is to change their specific gravity, which we do all the
time at our plant. Many of our customers like the predictibility and color
availability in the commercial areas, although we do make alot of shop
glazes for many of our clients also.

I truely hope that you can answer this question for free.

I have been using dipping underglaze since I work on a production line 5
years ago. There is some kind of oil/ grease dripping out from my baily fan
that I fired glaze only. And white powder on the bisq kiln.I assuming the
grease is gum or some kind of organi materials . So I have been so happy for
a few months that my fan is really working. However, all the gap/ joint
between the the air host started breaking down. & one night I went back in
the middle of the firing, the whole studio is fill up with some acidic smell.

I can't even stay there for more than 2 minutes. It actually gave me a runny
eyes. What is that?

Any answer?
