ceramic website response? a serious matter indeed...

Do those of you who have wesites featuring your pottery find that you have a
good consistent response to your work, and does anyone purchase your work
that way? Does anyone purchase pottery (or anything else for that matter)
based on information gathered from websites? If you don't buy now because of
the money thing (cyber-bucks?) would you eventually if it was easier/safer?
Do the URL-challenged readers tend to visit the sites mentioned in the
signiatures of the people who post to ClayArt? These are some of the
questions I ask of you, the ClayArt community, in my quest for the perfect
website. Right now I have two of Tim's pottery photos from the Red River
Revel festival in Shreveport on my website, and he wants me to make a whole
page just for him. I'm just wondering what y'all respond to, as far as
design, colors, text, photos, etc.
I'd love to hear more about this, I tend to try to hit a site a night, after
reading the mail, (and if you silent people have sites, I'd love to see them
too!)
I want input, positive or negative!
Thanks in advance,
Lauren
