I bought a package of business cards that are perforated, and already
decorated, at a office supply store.
You can use a label program on your computer to create your own cards.
Wordperfect has these labels "built in". Just scroll down to the right
label size. Type info and print. Then if you need to edit your card, or if
you move, you won't have 837 cards with the wrong address! You can print as
many or as little as you need.

A few years ago I looked at the ads for busines cards, including one listed
in the business section of the Wall STreet Journal, that seemed especially
cheap. You had to use their format and type style. I then sent to my local
printer- the little guy who always does a great job on time and the sort of
person you want to support- who was able to take my design from my computer
and print more cards cheaper. He may have sent them out; I don't remember
except that I'm still using them.

So my advice is to design you card, find the best mail order price, and go
to your local printer. Bonnie in Pittsburgh on the way (shortly) to Ouray,

You can get nice pre-printed (with colored border, etc.. you supply the
black part of the design with your inkjet or laser printer) perfed cards
through a mail order paper company called Paper Direct. To get a catalog,
call 1-800-A-PAPERS. They've also got very nice stuff like biz card holders,
acrylic stands for flyers (nice at shows!) and all sorts of papery things
(brochure templates, nametags, etc).
