Clayarters---
Just curious to know who out there in Cyberville would be
interested in having one piece of their work displayed along with their
business cards and/or brochures and sold in my gallery. I would set aside
a portion of my retail gallery for this purpose--- the participating
clayarters gain from the exposure and I gain from the public interest
created by the diversity of pottery being put on display from around the
country. And of course I gain from the consignment fees that I would take
in. I have not worked out any details as far as insurance, consignment
percentages, return shipping fees, and the other nightmarish logistics--to
jury or not to jury --advertising --etc. If you think that you might be
interested in this endeavor or have ideas on how to organize this potential
show then please let me know.....
Best Wishes-- Marshall

PS--Thanks for ALL of the responses on the subject: handbuilt or handthrown
vs slip cast or ram pressed --11/05/96
