Hi Michael -

I liked it. At first I wondered about the last sentence:
>More often than not I am dissapointed in my attempts, but I do
>see continual improvement, and I get the occasional Ahh!

NOT because I don't think this is true for all of us, and it is succinctly
put. AND that recognition will be universal among those who are really
engaged in their work and not in how "the world" will rate it on a
competitive scale. But my infrequent experiences with the "fine arts" world
leads me to wonder if even the slightest suggestion that an entirely
wrong-headed person might take to be apology or lack of confidence, could
result in some people not taking the time to appreciate your work. But,
telling the truth is a lovely way to live. I have often wondered if there
is any price too high, to pay for reality.
On the other hand, you said it is
> to be kept at the ceramics dept., sort of a
>clay bridge from academia to the world at small.
(nice phrase.) Perhaps pretension might not be a requirement in that
setting. It would be nice to be able to hope so.
After all that - if it was me, I'd leave it as it is. And now I'm looking
forward to seeing your work sometime - I like the sound of it.

- Veronica
